Lenten Fundraising

Raising funds for the Cardinal Hume Centre

In keeping with our Mission Statement, celebrating the Catholic Traditions of Lent, St Paul’s Catholic College community unites in the spirit of almsgiving, raising funds to support those most in need. This year, our student committee has chosen to support the Cardinal Hume Centre. This charity offers homeless young people aged 16-24 a safe place to live, and helps families facing homelessness.

As in previous years, our main fundraising event will be the Sponsored Walk around Kempton Park on Friday 20th March. Alongside this, a range of fundraising activities will take place between 16th March and 27th March, which include a Staff Football Match, cake and ice lolly sales, an Easter Egg raffle and a chance to `Sponge the Teacher’ (always a favourite!) along with many other events organised by our staff and students. As a school, we are aiming to raise £15,000 for our chosen charity and hope you will be able to support us in achieving this goal.

To take part in these activities, students will need to use tokens. As you are aware, the school operates a cashless system. Parents can purchase tokens via Wisepay. These tokens will then be distributed to students during tutor time.

Each token has a value of 50p and will be sold in bundles of £2, £5 or £10. Tokens will be available to purchase from Monday, 9th March. Please note that lost or unused tokens are non-refundable, and students are responsible for keeping them safe.

Stay up to date with our latest fundraising activities and events by following our social media platforms and visiting the school website.

Thank you so much for your support.
